Storykin

Built by Fiero Learning, Storykin equips libraries to support aspiring writers of all ages, without requiring specialised staff, outside instructors, or complex program planning.

Storykin is a modern creative writing platform designed for public libraries that want to move beyond passive content and offer meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for their communities.

Easily run writing clubs, workshops, or drop-in sessions using Storykin’s built-in structure—no creative writing expertise required.  Turn patrons into creators and celebrate finished works like short stories, memoirs, or even full novels!

How Storykin Works

Storykin uses short, focused instruction followed by immediate application. Each lesson introduces a specific concept - like character development, dialogue, or plot structure - and then prompts the user to write. By by the end of a course patrons have made substantial progress on a real piece of writing.

Features like guided prompts and a distraction-free “Writers Room” help users stay focused and overcome common barriers like writer’s block.

Storykin is the tool to:

  • Offer engaging, modern learning experiences that go beyond traditional databases

  • Support lifelong learning for teens and adults interested in creative writing

  • Launch programs like writing clubs with minimal planning and staffing

  • Provide affordable alternatives to hiring outside instructors or hosting events

  • Showcase patron-created work, strengthening community engagement

Active Learning, Not Passive Content

Patrons don’t just read about writing - they actually create stories, essays, and novels. Storykin helps libraries support mental wellness, storytelling, and personal voice.

No Expertise Required for Staff

Libraries can run writing programs without needing a professional writer or instructor on staff, while also having a 24/7 writing  resource available anytime, anywhere. Easily launch writing clubs, workshops, or challenges using the existing curriculum.

Positions the Library as a Creation Hub

Reinforces the library’s role as a place where ideas are made - not just consumed.
